The marble table arrived slightly damaged. It has a scratch and the bottom attachment unglued.

When the table tops were unpacked it became evident that they were damaged prior to shipping. The box they arrived in was not damaged in anyway. The marble table top and the wood top both had chips out of them. I contacted the customer service department and the matter was resolved and my money full refunded. The review is one that reflects the manufacturer of a flawed product and I am not sure how quality control can be monitored when Modern Furniture is buying from so many suppliers. However, Modern Furniture's response to me was 5 star.
