We'll match or beat any price

We will match or beat any advertised price in Canada for a product of the same name, brand, model, and finish as the item displayed on our website up to 14 days after your purchase date, so long as the product is in-stock and available for purchase from an authorized retailer, is not a pricing error, clearance, or promotional pricing, and does not require a membership to order. The advertised price is the total price quote from the retailer, which includes the price of the item plus shipping/delivery fees to your address. When matching prices of American dealers, we must include currency exchange, shipping, brokerage, and duties.

To request a Price Match, please fill out the form by clicking the Price Match link located on each product page. Although all price matches are subject to our approval, most requests are approved within 1 business day. Price match discounts cannot be combined with any other MFC promotional offers.

Fast, free, and convenient

Shipping is absolutely free within Canada on any order, with the exception of certain remote areas within the 10 provinces and territories. For customers in remote areas, shipping quotes will be provided upon checkout. Orders are normally shipped within 1-2 business days of order receipt. Most ground delivery takes 1-7 business days. Some delays may occur in shipping due to circumstances out of our control (e.g., weather conditions, errors in shipping address, availability of customer to receive delivery, etc.).

To keep you informed of your shipment status, information at every step of the shipping process is provided to you by email and is always available by logging into your account. When you receive your tracking number, feel free to contact the shipping company and arrange for delivery at your earliest convenience.

It's ok to change your mind

We want you to be completely satisfied with every item you purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item within 15 days of the delivery date.

If you wish to make an exchange, please request a return for the original order and place a new order online for the alternative items.

We will email you a prepaid shipping label and schedule a pickup at your location at your earliest convenience. We will find the lowest available rate in order to minimize the cost of return shipping that will be deducted from your refund.

Nobody likes restocking fees, and we do all we can to avoid them. Please unwrap your merchandise carefully, keeping in mind that merchandise can only be returned unassembled and in its complete original packaging. We understand that packaging will be opened for initial inspection, and we expect a reasonable amount of wear from shipping and handling. However, any merchandise that is returned with damaged packaging may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fees. Note that Nuevo and Elite Living products are always subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee and Sunpan, Moes, Mercana, Adesso, Bellini, Pink & Brown, and Brassex products are always subject to a 20% restocking fee. Assembled items and any items without complete and undamaged original packaging, including those unwrapped and assembled by a White Glove delivery service, cannot be returned.

Merchandise returned without authorization will be refused and shipped back to the customer at their expense. Shipments that are refused by the customer are considered returns and applicable charges will be deducted from your refund. Refunds are processed and appear on the original payment method within 1-5 business days. Shipping paid by the customer at the time of purchase, if applicable, is not refundable. All items shipped to the United States as well as some items such as mattresses, blankets, pillows, cushions, items labelled "final sale", artwork, paintings, framed wall art, clearance items, open box items, special orders, artificial plants, and items assembled at or after delivery, are non-returnable.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any item(s) will be deliverable based on careful consideration of the dimensions of the item(s), as stated on the website’s product listings, and any potential limitations of the customer’s dwelling. Any order that is not able to be delivered or is returned or refused due to limitations of a dwelling that prevent delivery, will be subject to a 20% restocking fee as well as the cost of return shipping.

Help us protect your merchandise

We work closely with our distribution partners to make sure your merchandise arrives safely. However, damages from shipping and handling may sometimes occur. The process is easy: you send us pictures and a description of the damages and we will process a damage claim on your behalf. Approved claims are resolved by either offering a discount or sending replacement parts to you if a discount is not a viable solution. If the issue cannot be addressed with replacement parts, the product will be replaced.

To help us protect you and your merchandise and enable us to make a claim on your behalf if items arrive damaged, it is important that you inspect all packaging carefully upon delivery before signing the "Proof of Delivery" receipt and report any damage to the packaging to the driver. We recommend taking photos of damaged packaging before opening it. If you cannot inspect your merchandise upon delivery for any reason (e.g., you cannot unwrap the merchandise or do not immediately see any damages to merchandise or packaging), but suspect that it may be damaged, please declare the merchandise as possibly damaged on the Proof of Delivery, before you sign. Signing a Proof of Delivery receipt without indicating any damages will free the transporter of all responsibility regarding loss or damage to your goods and prevents us from filing damage claims on your behalf.

Be sure to keep all original packaging as no damage or warranty claim can be filed without photos of the packaging and items cannot be returned without packaging.

We take pride in making sure you receive your merchandise on-time and in good order. If your items have arrived damaged, please browse to order history and click the link under the relevant order to file a claim. Any claim for damages, defects, or issues with a recently delivered product must be filed within 5 days of your delivery, without exception.

*If your items were delivered undamaged but you noticed a manufacturing defect 5 days after your delivery, please refer to warranties.

Don't worry, we've got you covered

We are proud to sell quality products and we stand by what we sell. All products sold by Modern Furniture Canada are covered by a 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects and premature failure, with the exception of products by WHI, Inspire, and Brassex, which are covered for 90 days. The warranty period begins 5 days after your delivery date. If you received your item within the last 5 days and have noticed damages or a defect, please file a damage claim instead. All products are considered to be suitable for residential use, unless stated otherwise in the description and/or specifications.

Filing a warranty claim is easy: you send us pictures and a description of the issue and we file a claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. Approved claims are resolved by either offering a discount or sending replacement parts to you if a discount is not a viable solution. If the issue cannot be addressed with replacement parts, the product will be replaced. Should you wish to return the product instead, you can do so as long as the item meets all conditions and delays listed in our returns policy.
