The black finish continues up the narrow rectangular stem leading to a square, beige textured fabric shade that softly distills the light. The 100W bulb (not included) is operated by a 3-way rotary switch located on the socket, allowing you to easily adjust the lighting level between low, medium, high, and off when using a 3-way bulb.
