I had researched for months for a king size platform bed. Being my first time moving away from the traditional mattress/box spring combo, I wanted to ensure that I bought a bed that would properly support my expensive mattress for years to come. This bed is fabulous! It is beautifully upholstered in a dark grey, light grey and beige tweed. The picture online does not do it justice. It has a soft appearance bc of the fabric but also a manly appearance bc of the tweed. It is extremely supportive and actually made my mattress better. My favourite thing about it is the headboard.......I love to have coffee and read the news on sunday mornings and it is the prefect background to sit up against. The customer service was very nice and helpful when I called with questions prior to buying and delivery was on time and a breeze. Assembly was very straightforward and easy. Would definitely recommend!!
