Inspired by Irish carpentry work from more than 200 years ago, each piece is crafted of both reclaimed and recycled wood. Created from a jigsaw type construction made popular in 18th century Ireland, the collection is bench-built and hand-finished with up to 18 color applications to provide a genuine rustic charm. In addition, the recycled wood comes from old timber, formerly used as cable reels, bridge beams, pallets and torn down buildings throughout the Northern Hemisphere. This includes hardware and fittings manufactured of recycled metal or brass.

Each piece of reclaimed wood is unique, with variations in color, texture, and consistency even when sourced from the same barn, building, or tree. This uniqueness is what makes authentic reclaimed wood so remarkable. Salvaged wood typically features nail holes, knot holes, stains, cracks, splits, wormholes, warps, twists, mortise holes, and irregular thicknesses or widths. These features are not considered defects and are not considered in any claims filed on our website.
